On the evening of December 8th Britcham SW China in cooperation with the European, American and French Chambers successfully hosted the 2012 InterCham Charity Christmas Party at the Crown Plaza City Center.  Nearly 250 Chamber members and guests celebrated the occasion and enjoyed the traditional Christmas feast and were dazzled by entertained from the Leman International School Children's Choir, Chengdu Harmony International Chorus, traditional Sichuanese face changers (Bian Lian), singer Janina Simion, saxophonist Murray James and the Xihua University Cheerleaders.  Music was provided by

2012年10月18日晚，中国西南英国商会在花样年隆堡成都酒店成功举行了“2012英国商业论坛鸡尾酒会”。此次盛会首先在中国西南英国商会总经理Sophie Xu的精彩致辞下拉开了帷幕。随后，中国西南英国商会主席Yong Zhao分别向从重庆、北京、上海、香港等远道而来的各英国商会代表和近百名与会嘉宾致以诚挚的问候，并对商会成员对商会活动一如既往地支持表示感谢。紧接着，英国驻重庆总领事馆商务领事Simon Mellon、英国工商业联合会（CBI）首席代表Guy Dru Drury、中国英国商会董事Ralph Rogers、香港英国商会常务董事Christopher Hammerbeck等分别上台致辞，表达了对中英商业合作与发展的期许，并探讨了商会成员与英国政府与大中华区各英国商会的合作机会。
在鸡尾酒会的交流环节，众多企业代表纷纷与英国政府代表和大中华区的英商会代表进行了更为深入的交流，并称这次英国商业论坛鸡尾酒会给他们提供了很好的商业交流平台，使他们获得了许多关于中英商业的前沿信息。
