Meet the British Chamber of Commerce South West China Team

Sophie Xu

General Manager

Sophie is responsible for the overall management of the Chamber in Southwest China, e.g. recruiting new members, overseeing and building the relationship with our current members, organising events, supervising Chamber marketing and publications, building up good relations with local government agencies and looking for business opportunities for current members.

Jenny Jiang

Deputy General Manager (Chengdu office)

Jenny is the Deputy General Manager working in the Chengdu office. She is responsible for supporting Sophie in her work recruiting new members, building strong relationships with current members, organising events and so on as well as administrative tasks, such as keeping track of membership and renewals. Jenny is also the main liaison for venues and food and beverage.

Ader Wu

Deputy General Manager (Chongqing office)

Ader is responsible for the day to day operations of the Chamber in Chongqing, including recruitment of members, events, leading interns, and looking for opportunities to expand our Chamber’s influence and providing a better service for our current members.

Danielle Laing

Information Officer (Chengdu office)

Danielle is the editor of and responsible for the magazine and website and all English language material including promotional materials. She also runs events, working groups, and supervises and trains foreign interns.

Leigh Tan

PR Officer (Chengdu office)

Leigh is responsible for media relations, writing and proof-reading Chinese-language reports, organising events, organising working groups. She is also in charge of liaison with design companies, Chinese language material, intern training and supervision.
