Meet the British Chamber of Commerce South West China Team

Sophie Xu

General Manager

Sophie is responsible for the overall management of the Chamber in Southwest China, e.g. recruiting new members, overseeing and building the relationship with our current members, organising events, supervising Chamber marketing and publications, building up good relations with local government agencies and looking for business opportunities for current members.

Ader Wu

Deputy General Manager (Chongqing office)

Ader Wu assumes the overall responsibility for all facets of BCCSWC's development and day-to-day operations in Chongqing, spearheading the growth of the Chamber in the municipality, while reporting to the BCCSWC General Manager, Sophie Xu.

Leigh Tan

PR Officer (Chengdu office)

Leigh is responsible for media relations, writing and proof-reading Chinese-language reports, organising events, organising working groups. She is also in charge of liaison with design companies, Chinese language material, intern training and supervision.

Danielle Laing

Communications Officer (Chengdu office)

Danielle is the editor of and responsible for the website, magazine, weekly announcement and all English language materials and promotions. She also runs events, working groups, and supervises and trains foreign interns.

Jennifer is responsible for managing relationships with local businesses and organisations, providing event support, handling Chamber finances, and administrative duties.

Caroline is responsible for administration in the Chongqing office, assisting Ader with BritCham Chongqing's overall operations.
