JOB SPECIFICATION

The post-holder will be 100% focused on the ICT sector, reporting to the ICT team

leader in Beijing but also working as part of the wider Trade & Investment team in

Chongqing under the Consul General, Simon Lever.

The ideal candidate will have previous ICT sectoral experienceand excellent

organisational and networking skills, in order to establish good working relationships

with both Government and Industry contacts in China and the UK.

The post-holder will support UK companies through the delivery of UKTI services in

the ICT sector for Southwest China, with responsibility for strategic planning of sector

activity, relationship management of specified key UK and Chinese companies and

meeting defined targets.
