China-UK Air Show Deal
British Air Show organizer Farnborough International Limited has signed a deal with Zhuhai Airshow Company to extend their reach in the Chinese market. The agreement will mean stronger links between the two companies with Farnborough International taking a stand at the Chinese Airshow in November. FI will also work with its parent organisation ADS, the british aerospace, defence,security and space industry trade organisation to promote Airshow China to its members and help promote greater cooperation.
“This agreement represents a major opportunity to generate trade between the UK and Chinese markets,” said Farnborough CEO Shaun Ormrod. “The sheer scale of the growth of the aerospace industry in China means strong partnerships with our Chinese counterparts is essential for the long-term growth prospects of the aerospace industry in the UK.”
Zhuhai Airshow Company vice general manager Yang Xiangang hopes the deak with UK will lead to business opportunities for China’s aerospace industry. “The pedigree and heritage of the Farnborough International Airshow as the premier aerospace event to do business is testament to its organisers”
