St. George’s Day
Date: Friday, 23rd April, 2010
Time: 18:30 – late
Venue: The Underground Bar, Jiu Yan Qiao, in the tunnel between Babi II and Club 1815
The 23rd April is the day for English people to cheer for St. George, their national patron saint, who was a brave Roman soldier. This year, the British Chamber of Commerce South West China held the St. George’s Day celebration party at a British bar Underground in Chengdu. With English pies, discounted beer and great live music, our guests all enjoy a wonderfully English night in company of old friends and the new ones that they made at the event.
