The British Consulate General Chongqing is looking for a Programme Finance & Support Officer for the China Prosperity Fund. Responsibilities include, developing a portfolio of high impact projects, delivering projects on time, budget and with successful outcomes, developing external and internal relationships to support successful implementation of project portfolio, and enhancing the impact of the projects and the programme as a whole.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, including: designing new projects; setting specific outputs, outcomes and indicators; developing activity-based budgets; monitoring and evaluating of project expenditure; identifying risks and project outcomes.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working on policy issues and/or demonstrated interest with regional development.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with different teams; willing to lead on project implementation to ensure both policy influence as well as prosperity project guidance.
