Theresa May Confirms China Visit


British PM Theresa May has confirmed that she will be visiting China in September in an effort to steady relations with Beijing.

In a letter to President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang, Mrs May said she supported the hosting of the G20 leaders’ summit in Hangzhou, and wanted to build a stronger trade relationship. Mrs May has also promised to announce a decision on Hinkley Point in September, an issue that has caused strain between China and the UK.
