2016 BBA Finalists Revealed

On the evening of 6 September, the British Business Awards 2016 (BBA) finalists were revealed at the InterContinental Shanghai Ruijin. BBA Head Judge and Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, Barry Piper, delivered the opening remarks and introduced the awards sponsors, who announced the finalists of each award category.The British Business Awards 2016 finalists are:

  • Best New Exporter to China Award: Karro Food Group, New Look, Peak Scientific Instruments Ltd, P2i, Trunki
  • Education Institutional Partnership of the Year: Bangor University / CSUFT (Hunan), Coventry University / SWUPL (Chongqing), University of Huddersfield / Sino British College Shanghai, University of Nottingham (Ningbo), Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University (Suzhou)
  • New Business Award: The Happy Monk, Imagine, IX Cameras Ltd, Leong & Chee Ltd, Ve Interactive Asia Limited
  • Best Services Award: Amec Foster Wheeler, Control Risks, InterContinental Hotels Group, Rentokil Initial China, Shanghai SIP Engineering Consulting
  • Innovation Award: Eco Capcity Exchange, MicroTek Processes, Palintest Ltd, Remitsy, Sensewhere Ltd
  • Sustainable Business Award: BP China, Diageo, Jaguar Land Rover China, PwC, Spirax Sarco Engineering (China) Ltd, Unilever
  • Chinese Investor of the Year Award: Sanpower Group, Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd (BCEG)
  • British Company of the Year: Arup, InterContinental Hotels Group, Jaguar Land Rover China, Savills, University of Nottingham
