Event Review: Young Professional Mixer Vol. 3

On Friday 22nd of September, the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China, in partnership with Chengdu Expat, organised the third edition of the Young Professional Mixer event The event was hosted at the beautiful Garden Terrace of the Fairmont Hotel Chengdu.

The event was intended for the young professional crowd of Chengdu, although members of the wider business community were also in attendance. While enjoying a lovely glass of wine, or a fresh beer, attendees were able to meet other like-minded individuals in an informal setting.

It really was a fantastic evening getting to know new faces and mixing with people from all around the world, enjoying drinks, great music and great vibes in a wonderful setting! Also, thank you Thao Anh for sharing your experiences regarding young professional networking events and the benefits of having a mentor.

Moreover, after two years at BritCham, our beloved colleague Jiaying is leaving for Guangzhou; so the event, in part, was a farewell party as well.
Jiaying, many thanks for your efforts these past two years, we are surely going to miss you! We wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you in the near future!

Thanks to everyone in attendance that helped make this a great event. In particular, a big thank you to Extravagant Yak, EChinaCareers, Le Wagon, Mandarin Blueprint,  Genesis Incubator, Mileslife and Jake Homovich for your contributions. Finally, we would like to say thank you to Fairmont Chengdu for hosting this event.

We’re looking forward seeing you at Young Professionals Vol.4 on November (exact date to be announced soon)
