The First Entry Fair Ended Successfully, Chongqing Reached 396 Purchase Intention Agreements

The first China International Import Expo fair this year’s was fruitful, with a cumulative turnover of US$57.83 billion. In the six days of the Expo, Chongqing organized nearly 2,000 companies and more than 4,600 trading groups, and went to the Expo to purchase in two batches. According to statistics, a total of 396 purchase intention agreements were reached, mainly from the United States, Japan, Mexico, France, Germany, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and South Korea.

The World Bank Delegation Visits Guizhou

Shen Yiqin (R), governor of Guizhou, and Sun Zhigang (R2), secretary of the CPC Guizhou Committee, meets with Jim Yong Kim (L2) president of the World Bank.

The World Bank delegation led by President Jim Yong Kim paid a visit to Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, from Nov 3 to 4 to investigate the development of rural e-commerce, senior services, and big data. During his visit to the Senior Service Center in Guanshanhu district, Kim said that the World Bank would provide extra help to Guizhou’s senior services.

Chengdu and Australia Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation on Large Health Industry

According to the agreement, the Chengdu-Australia Health Industry Development Fund will focus on investment in medical devices, biomedicine, medical services, smart healthcare, etc. through marketization, specialization, and internationalization.
