On the 16th December, the 2023 Chengdu Christmas Gala was successfully held at the Fairmont Chengdu, hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China, AmCham China Southwest Chapter, the German Chamber of Commerce in China South and Southwest, and AustCham Southwest China. With an incredible 300 attendees attending this years Christmas gala, it was one not to be missed!

Following registration and complimentary canapes and drinks, the evening began with a greeting from the host, Ben Metcalf, and was followed by welcome speeches from Mr. Joe White, Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China, Mr. Andy Liu, Chairman of AustCham West China, Mr. Martin Klose, Executive Director and Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce in China South and Southwest, and Mr. Jun Lin, Executive Member of AmCham China Southwest Chapter.
晚会在主持人Ben Metcalf的问候中开始，中国西南英国商会主席Joe White先生、中国澳大利亚商会华西主席刘晓晔先生、中国德国商会华南及西南地区主席马延坤先生以及中国美国商会西南执行委员会委员林俊先生为本次晚宴致欢迎词。
Consulate Speeches were then given by Mr. Tim Standbrook, the Deputy British Consul-General in Chongqing, and Ms. Nina Dynon, the Australian Deputy Consul-General in Chengdu, as well as videos from Mr. Everett Wakai, the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the U.S. Embassy and Mr. Aron Mir Haschemi, Consul General of Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chengdu, who both expressed their best wishes for Christmas.
随后，英国驻重庆副总领事施博荣先生和澳大利亚驻成都副总领事郭妮娜女士发表了演讲，随后美国驻中国大使馆公使衔商务参赞王勇安先生和德国驻成都领事馆总领事密安龙先生通过视频表达了对本次活动的祝福，并送上了圣诞问候。
As appetizers were served, the representatives of our Platinum Sponsor, Tianqi Lithium Corporation, and our four Gold Sponsors: IVYU Education, DIAN JIANG TAI Chengdu, Times Education, and TÜV Rheinland, were invited on stage to have a toast together with the chambers, consulates and the attendees.

The attendees enjoyed the live band performance as the dinner was served, and the first round of the Lucky Draw was held. Then the live band returned as the night heated up and people began moving to the dance floor. Finally the last round of the Lucky Draw was held before the evening concluded.
