Sam Pu
Dear Members, Partners, and the British Community in Southwest China,
I hope this message finds you well. It is my absolute pleasure to introduce myself as the new General Manager of the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China. As Mavis Yang transitions to her next exciting chapter, I want to express my deep gratitude for her outstanding leadership and contributions over the past six years. Her dedication to fostering a thriving business and community network has left an incredible legacy that I am both honoured and excited to continue.
A little about myself—my name is Sam Pu, and I recently graduated from the London School of Economics as a Chevening Scholar. I come with a background rooted in international development and education, with extensive experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. While I’m new to the corporate world, I bring with me fresh perspectives and insights, and I look forward to collaborating with all of you to further strengthen the Chamber’s impact and service to our community.
As Mavis mentioned, BritCham SW is more than just a business platform—it is a family. I look forward to building on the Chamber’s achievements and working closely with Paul Sives, Rebecca Huang, and the Executive Committee to continue providing the valuable support, opportunities, and insights that you have come to expect from BritCham.
Thank you all for your continued support of the Chamber. I look forward to meeting many of you in person soon, whether at one of our upcoming events or in the course of our regular work together. If you ever have questions, concerns, or ideas, my door is always open.
Warmest regards,
Sam Pu
General Manager, BritCham SW
