On Wednesday, July 2nd, the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China held the ‘Royal Summer Soirée · Dance Party: Celebrating the Birthday of His Majesty King Charles III’ at the Sanhe Classic Car Museum to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III.
7月2日（周三），中国西南英国商会在三和老爷车博物馆成功举办了夏夜舞蹈派对，共同庆祝英国国王查尔斯三世诞辰。
The event commenced with a melodious performance by Jeni Gu from King’s College School Chengdu. This was followed by a welcome speech from Paul Sives, Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China, and a congratulatory address by Raj Maan, Trade Consul of the British Consulate-General Chongqing. Tim Lan, the Principal of King’s College School Chengdu also took the stage to share warm remarks. Rain Leng, representing both King’s College London alumni and serving as a sponsor representative for this event, led a toast in honor of the King’s birthday, while Yuqi Zhao from Jiaxiang International Department delivered a second captivating musical performance, elevating the festive atmosphere.

The guests then took to the dance floor under the guidance of instructor Xu from Maydo Dance, swaying to the rhythm with enthusiasm. An engaging Kings quiz session added excitement to the evening, with lucky participants winning surprise prizes.
