On Thursday, July 17th, the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China (BritCham SW) held Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 at The Temple House Chengdu, with participation from a select group of members.
7月17日(星期四)，中国西南英国商会（BritCham SW）在成都博舍酒店成功举办了2025年度会员大会 (2025 AGM)，部分会员代表出席了本次会议。
Chairman Paul Sives opened the proceedings with the 2024-2025 Annual Report, outlining the Chamber’s key achievements, including introduce the Executive Committee members, membership growth, the 2025 business sentiment survey and position paper publish, also the evolving business landscape. General Manager Sam Pu facilitated the meeting, reflecting on a dynamic year of events and extending heartfelt appreciation to the 2024-2025 Executive Committee, the BritCham SW team, and all members for their unwavering support.
中国西南英国商会主席Paul Sives以2024-2025年度工作报告拉开会议序幕。报告全面回顾了商会过去一年的主要工作成果，包括介绍执行委员会人员、会员规模发展、2025在华英国企业：建议书发布等重要工作。商会总经理Sam Pu主持会议，梳理了年度活动亮点，并向2024-2025届执行委员会全体成员、商会团队以及所有会员单位在过去一年中给予的鼎力支持表达了诚挚谢意。
Treasurer Kas Zeng presented the financial report, detailing the Chamber’s fiscal performance over the past year and historical trends. The gathering was further honored by a keynote address from Jagdeep Uberoi, Political and Economic Consul of the British Consulate-General Chongqing, expressing his steadfast support for the Chamber and anticipation for enhanced future collaboration.

New Membership Rate
2025年新会员费率调整
The Chamber announced an updated membership fee structure, effective September 1st, 2025:
Standard Membership: Adjusted from ¥5,000 to ¥6,000 (early renewal at the current rate available until September 1st).
Sustaining Membership: Remains unchanged at ¥30,000.
中国西南英国商会也公布了2025年度最新会费标准（自2025年9月1日起执行）：
普通会员：会费标准由5,000元/年调整至6,000元/年（现有会员在9月1日前续费可以原价续约);
年度会员：会费标准维持30,000元/年不变。
The AGM was followed by the 2025 Summer Drinks at The Temple House’s Jing Bar, offering members and partners a relaxed evening of networking against Chengdu’s vibrant backdrop.
