Sichuan Taikang Hospital is located in Tianfu New Area, Sichuan Province. It is planned in accordance with the national tertiary A-level general hospital setting standards. The total construction area of the hospital is 185,000 square meters, and the planned total number of beds is 1,001. The hospital has an “embedded” high-quality nursing-oriented elderly care community – Taikang Home • Jinguanfu, forming the Taikang Tianfu medical and elderly care park. With a total investment of over 4 billion yuan, it will be built into the first super-version medical and elderly care complex integrating“medical treatment, education, research, elderly care, and rehabilitation” in southwest China.

Sichuan Taikang Hospital is the first “medical, educational, and research” integrated tertiary general hospital built by Taikang Insurance Group, a Fortune 500 company, in southwest China. It is one of Taikang’s five major medical centers. Adhering to the concept of “running hospitals for health”, it creates strategic disciplines led by “healthcare and geriatrics”, with “general practice, psychosomatic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and rehabilitation” developing in parallel. 医院积极引入优秀学科带头人，鼓励亚专科发展，现有学科带头人（现有科主任37人，含科副主任）97%来自三甲医院，84%为硕博学历，68%为博导/硕导；医院不断完善人才梯队建设，增强科室中间力量，现有卫生技术人员625余人，博士27人，其中医生硕博学历占比为65%，护理本硕学历87%，药师/技师本硕学历占比为91%。
The hospital actively introduces outstanding discipline leaders and encourages the development of sub-specialties. Currently, 97% of our discipline leaders, including 37 department directors and deputy directors, come from tertiary A-level hospitals. 84% of them have master’s or doctoral degrees and 68% are supervisors for doctoral or master students. The hospital continuously improves the construction of talent echelons and strengthens the intermediate forces of departments. Among the current 625 health technicians, 27 are with doctoral degrees and the percentage of those who have master’s or doctoral degrees is 65%. 87% of our nurses have bachelor’s or master’s degrees, while 91% of our pharmacists/technicians have bachelor’s or master’s degrees.
