Webinar: Understanding Counterfeits Online & Chinese IP Protection

This webinar will cover common problems associated with China and E-commerce that businesses regularly face. The webinar aims to cover issues such as counterfeiting, trademark squatting, unauthorized distributors and the sale of IP infringing products online. IPR experts will then explain best practices that any business can implement as preventative measures against all the issues covered.
On Thursday, 11 May 2017, you are welcome to join China IPR SME Helpdesk expert Mr. Alex Garmon and Red Points IP expert Mr. Joan Porta for a webinar session “Understanding Counterfeits Online & Chinese IP Protection” Mr. Garmon and Mr. Porta will give SMEs a comprehensive overview of IP protection in the E-commerce sector in China, concentrating particularly on:
- Trade mark squatting, covering blackmailing, customs issues and legal action
- Partner Risks, covering distributors, manufacturers and supply chain
- Counterfeits, covering online sale and distribution and offline sources
