This year, BEANSTALK launched the new DSE program, which, together with the IB/AP/A Level courses, provides students with “multiple paths” to higher education and eliminates parents’ anxiety about higher education.

In order to further enhance the professionalism and localization of the DSE program, the Chengdu BEANSTALK DSE team was invited to Hong Kong, China for a 3-day field trip.

为了进一步提升青苗DSE课程的专业性与本土化，成都青苗DSE考察团应邀前往中国香港，开启3天的实地考察之旅。

1. Visiting the University of Hong Kong 参观港大，直击顶尖学府

The first stop, Chengdu BEANSTALK team went to the University of Hong Kong (HKU), which is known as the “Ivy League” in Asia.

第一站，成都青苗考察团来到有亚洲“常春藤”之称的香港大学。

A current HKU student led the team to learn about the campus and the experience of studying at the HKU.

The sunshine was bright, reflecting the HKU’s iconic red-brick walls, century-old academic buildings and the constant flow of students, highlighting the internationalized educational environment and the heavy academic atmosphere.

一位港大的在读学生带领考察团队，了解香港大学的校园及就读体验。

阳光明媚，映衬着港大标志的红砖墙、百年历史的教学楼与往来不息的学子，凸显着国际化的教育环境与厚重的学术氛围。

Coincidentally, this day coincided with the 211th Degree Conferment Ceremony of the HKU.

HKU students wearing Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree gowns posed for photos in various parts of the campus, commemorating an important point in their lives, and taking pride in standing on this high starting point of HKU in the future.

碰巧的是，这天正值香港大学第211届学位颁授典礼。

穿着学士、硕士、博士服的港大学子们在校园各处合影留念，纪念人生的重要节点，也为未来站在港大这个高起点上而骄傲。

From the hardware facilities, student appearance, academic atmosphere to the study experience, the team learned about the HKU from various aspects, and recognized this top university in Asia in their heart.

从硬件设施、学生风貌、学术氛围到就读感悟，考察团队从多个方面了解香港大学，在内心肯定这座亚洲的顶尖学府。

2. Exchange Study at Lingnan University 岭南大学交流，解码DSE申请

Next stop, the team was invited to Lingnan University to exchange ideas. Ms. Cheung, Teaching Director, and Aun wong, Director of Admissions, shared their experiences with the team.

下一站，考察团队受邀来到香港岭南大学，与教导主任章女士、招生主任Aun wong一起交流学习。

During the exchange session, the team learned about the current situation of students at Lingnan University, the policy of further education and other related information.

交流会上，考察团队了解了岭南大学的学生现状、升学政策等相关信息。

At the same time, a mainland student who successfully enrolled in Lingnan University with DSE scores came to share her experience in preparing for the exam and studying in the university, which is “a good model” for mainland students applying to Hong Kong universities with DSE scores.

同时，一位以DSE成绩顺利入读岭南大学的内地学生前来分享备考经验与就读体验，对内地学生用DSE成绩申请香港高校“打了一个好样板”。

Finally, the team walked around the Lingnan University campus with Ms. Zhang and Aun wong.

最后，考察团队与教导主任章女士、招生主任Aun wong一起参观了岭南大学的校园。

3. Visiting Lui Ming Choi Lutheran College 荃湾吕明才中学交流，达成战略合作

In the afternoon, the team went to Lui Ming Choi Secondary School for exchange and learning. It is a public school in Tsuen Wan District, and the students attending the school apply for universities with DSE scores.

The principal, Ms. Ma, and the student ambassadors were waiting at the entrance of the school and warmly received the team.

下午，考察团队来到荃湾吕明才中学交流学习。该中学是荃湾区的一所公立学校，就读学生以DSE成绩申请大学。

校长Ma女士以及学生大使一行人早早地等候在校门口，热情地接待了考察团队。

Ms. Ma showed the Chengdu BEANSTALK team the most real side of DSE in a public school.

Led by student ambassadors, the team toured around the campus and randomly entered classrooms to observe.

校长Ma女士为成都青苗考察团队展示了DSE落地在公立学校的最真实一面。

考察团队在由学生大使的带领下，参观了校园的各个角落，并随机进入课堂观摩。

The team members were impressed by the students’ participation in class, their learning status, as well as the school’s educational philosophy reflected in its curriculum.

In the baking class, not only girls but also many boys participated; in the biodiversity classroom, students happily introduced the reptiles they raised.

考察团的成员们被学生的上课参与、学习状态、学习面貌所感染，也被学校在课程设置中反映的教育理念所触动。

在烘培课上，不止是女生，也有很多男生参加；在生物多样性的教室里，学生开心地介绍了他们养的爬行动物。

After the campus tour, the team entered the school auditorium.

Here, Chengdu BEANSTALK and Lui Ming Choi Secondary School officially reached a cooperation agreement.

Mr. Derrick, Vice Principal of Chengdu BEANSTALK Secondary School and Ms. Ma, Principal of Lui Ming Choi Secondary School performed the signing ceremony.

校园参观结束后，考察团一行人到达礼堂。

在这里，成都青苗与荃湾吕明才中学正式达成合作交流协议。

成都青苗中学部副校长Mr. Derrick和荃湾吕明才中学校长Ms. Ma进行了签约仪式。

In the future cooperation, the two schools will strengthen the communication, carry out DSE teacher training from time to time, synchronize the learning progress of Hong Kong schools, so that Chengdu BEANSTALK can get the most timely DSE learning plan, to ensure that DSE is efficiently and comprehensively implemented in Chengdu BEANSTALK.

Mr. Derrick and Ms. Ma also exchanged views on the points of convergence between the two schools and invited them to Chengdu Campus.

在今后的合作中，两校将加强沟通，不定期开展DSE教师培训学习，同步港校学习进度，以便成都青苗能得到最及时的DSE学习计划，确保DSE在青苗高效全面落地实施。

Mr. Derrick和Ms. Ma还交流了两校之间的契合点，并邀请他们到成都校区交流。

4. Visiting Hong Kong Bluebell College 紫荆书院交流，三大课程认可

On the last stop of the trip, the team went to Hong Kong Bluebell College for communication.

行程的最后一站，考察团队来到香港紫荆书院交流。

During the meeting, the team learned about the high recognition of the three major courses IB/AP/A Level in Hong Kong, and made an in-depth exchange of views on the issues that may arise for students in the process of further studies.

会上，考察团队了解到IB/AP/A Level三大课程在香港升学的高认可度，针对升学过程中，学生可能出现的问题做了深入交流。
