The British Chamber of Commerce is the independent voice of British business in China. The British Business in China: Sentiment Survey is the 6th annual edition. This final point highlights the positive outcomes of British Chamber advocacy and why it matters. We at the British Chamber of Commerce want our members to keep talking, with better understanding we can support the members better.
We want to express our gratitude to British Consulate General Chongqing and the Department for Business and Trade for the support at this event. Thank you!

About the Sentiment Survey
BritCham’s British Business Sentiment Survey 2023-24 was launched on 12 December 2023 in Beijing. It measures the outlook of British businesses across the country for 2024, representing the voices of our members across goods and services, from small businesses to large multinationals with on-the-ground operations.
The survey itself is an important platform by which to shed light on the opportunities and challenges that are facing the collective British business community across China. As a flagship document in the Chamber’s advocacy work, the information provided will directly feed into shaping our key messaging to and communications with the British and Chinese government over the coming year as we aim to foster a more favourable business environment for our members.
