On 25th June（Wednesday）, the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China (BritCham SW) successfully hosted the Education Focus Group Roundtable at TEC Chongqing Corporate Avenue Centre.

6月25日（星期三），中国西南英国商会在德事商务中心企业天地会议中心(重庆)成功举办了教育专题小组圆桌会议。

The event was hosted by Sam Pu, General Manager of BritCham SW, who began with an introduction to the Chamber’s mission and activities. He highlighted the purpose of the Education Focus Group Meeting—a recurring initiative designed to share insights, opportunities, and resources within the education communities of Southwest China.

本次活动由中国西南英国商会总经理Sam Pu主持。他首先向与会嘉宾介绍了商会的宗旨与主要工作，并阐述了”教育专题小组会议”这一系列活动的意义——旨在为中国西南地区的教育界同仁搭建一个分享洞见、机遇与资源的交流平台。

After the opening remarks, four distinguished speakers from various sectors of the education industry delivered insightful presentations on the theme of “Exploring Pathways in Higher Education.” Each speaker shared their professional perspectives and engaged in meaningful discussions with participants, covering three crucial aspects: how to effectively interpret and utilize university rankings, the essential support systems needed for high school students at different stages, and collaborative approaches between schools and families to prepare students for overseas studies. The session provided valuable perspectives, fostering meaningful dialogue among educators, industry professionals, and parents.

在开场介绍之后，四位来自教育行业不同领域的杰出嘉宾依次登台发言。他们围绕”探索高等教育路径”这一主题，各自发表了演讲以及自己的相关见解，也与参与者们讨论了理解与运用大学排名的有效方法，高中阶段的学生需要的支持以及当学生需要海外求学时学校和家庭的协作方法。
