On the evening of the AGM & Summer garden party we are pleased to announce that after much hard work and dedication from both sides, the British Chamber and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s ProSME Bureau will be signing an MOU as a sign of our intention to cooperate for the mutual benefit of UK and Chinese SMEs, and as a mark of the goodwill and strong relationships between the two countries.
SMEs are a hugely important part of the Chamber’s membership, and of the UK’s commercial success in China. This initiative will play a key role in nurturing the special friendship and promoting closer cooperation between these members and their Chinese counterparts.
We have agreed on wide-ranging areas of cooperation, including business and trade, financial services, inclusive & sustainable development, human resource development and people-to-people exchanges, and agree on initiatives to strengthen and deepen our broad-based bilateral relations.
