The 21st International Food & Fashion Product Trade Fair

This trade fair is an international consumer goods event with no less than 4o countries, 4000 enterprises, 20,000 special buyers and 2.6 million customers come to the fair to trade. UK enterprises with consumer goods are invited to exhibit their goods.

The fair is strongly supported by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China and Sichuan People’s Government, jointly hosted by Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, Sichuan Economics and Information Commisson, Sichuan Marketing Association.

Background of the exhibition

Sichuan is located in the west of China, a huge province for natural resources, population and economy. It covers over 486,000 square meters and has jurisdiction over 21 cities and 183 counties, with 80.76 million permanent population, 26,000 schools and different grades and types.

The educational system has been growing ever so competitive, to attract excellent students from abroad. In 2016, the number of abroad students has grown an impressive 20% compared to 2015. The qualitative increase in scale, effect, and brand will affect the oversea colleagues’ incentive to show interest in the educational system in Southwest China.

Not only will this exhibition serve to inform families, schools and educational services, but it will also act as a booster for the social economy. Moreover, it will aid in getting a better understanding of Sichuan.

Highlight of the exhibition

INVITATION OF VISITOR

  1. Publicize information of this exhibition in international departments and advisory institutes of universities and colleges.
  2. Post big posters in universities, colleges, vocational and middle schools of Sichuan.
  3. Visitors range: Students and parents, education administrators and teachers, the officials of the education department of the provinces, districts and cities and the directors of all levels education institutions, experts, scholars, on-job people, the principals of the organization for the educational investment and financing, the principals of the registered study abroad agency, the officials of commerce, education and culture of foreign embassies, etc.

PROCEDURE

  1. Exhibitor shall fill in the Exposition Contract and affix official seal and then mail or fax them to Organizing Committee.

Exhibitor shall remit relevant exposition charge to appointed account within seven days upon registration.

  1. All exhibitors shall follow such principle that “first registered and paid shall have priority”, Organization Committee has right to cancel or displace unpaid booths till all booths are engaged.
  2. The Sponsor will mail Exhibitor Manual consisting of detailed schedule, transport, platform design and setting, travel and accommodation, material renting and waiter service, advertisement, visa application, weather forecast and any other service information to exhibitor upon exhibition booth confirmation, universities and colleges requesting pick up service shall contact organization committee five days ahead, all related costs shall be borne by exhibitors themselves.
  3. Exhibitor shall detail all information like height setting and special requirements in Exposition Contract.
  4. Organization Committee will prepare English and Chinese lintel board subject to contracts of registered universities and colleges.

Gianluca is the managing director of Geapower, an engineering consulting company based in Beijing. Since 2005, he has been consulting European and Chinese companies active in the environmental protection and renewable energy fields. He has been involved in the development of almost 50 projects in the renewable energy, waste, water treatment and industrial pollution control sectors. Gianluca is the elected Vice Chair of the Environment Working Group at the European Chamber of Commerce in China.

王牧之

南充人,在成都居住15年。

摄影师、专栏作者, “一筑一事”创始人, 四川大学建筑与环境学院硕士毕业,后在某跨国家族企业供职七年,从事建筑、地产、文化等工作。2014年创办“一筑一事”,致力于搭建“建筑、美学与生活”的桥梁。2017年策划主编一本由十几万字和数百张照片、地图组成的城市指南《成都》,完整呈献了为期两年的建筑空间拍摄和探访。
